The forms will have questions on your child's behavior. Fill out the form as honestly as you can. Do not be surprised if your child's teachers forms come back with worse behaviors than your forms do. This does not mean the teachers are overreacting. It means at school your child must be in a more structured environment than at home. Also, more is expected of your child at school. Lastly, your child is probably doing more things at home that he/she enjoys than learning school work. If the child is bored with the subject the teacher is discussing, he/she will fidget more, be more inattentive and not be able to follow directions. All of these symptoms are of no fault to your child that may have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.To help your child you may change his/her diet. Have your child eat a diet rich in protein, Omega-3 fatty acids, and complex carbohydrates. Foods rich in protein include nuts, peanut butter, meats, cheese, fruits (oranges, tangerines, pears, apples, grapefruit, and kiwi).
