Spiritual Laws of Money

Ponder Points - Think about Spiritual Laws of Money Review this- How many quick fixes are you implementing each day? Are there any safeguards to your legacy? Should you die today, how long will your family last before they become beggars? Do you have a clear legacy strategy? Documented? Do you even have a will? Affirmation Points - Say this to yourself- I am a provider of long term solutions to problems. I am a problem solver. I teach others the value of having more permanent solutions than dwell on the immediate. I am a person of legacy. I think beyond my time. The future of my kids is secure. I am deliberate in what I plan for them It's pretty funny how most of us approach change. We sit around with a general sense of dis-ease with our life for some time. Often this feeling that all isn't how you want it to be lasts for a few months. Then something happens, it can be something as little as just having a crappy day, and we decide that we need to totally overhaul our lives. So we figure out everything that's wrong with our lives and we decide to make all sorts of sweeping changes all at once. We make those changes, and they are great, and we feel better about ourselves, and then we almost never stick with any of those changes. We almost always reach one setback and then drop all the changes we've made. Change shouldn't happen all at once, it should happen one thing at a time. Provided, of course, you want the change to stick. Making only one significant life change at a time is a great way to gradually change your life. After all, in a year of trying to make many sweeping changes you'll probably achieve somewhere around none of them. However, in a year of making one change a month, you'll end up with a dozen significant changes in your life. But how do you go about winnowing down and focusing on one big change a month? The first step is to write down all your goals that you'd like to make right now. You should probably come up with a pretty sizeable list. Now look over those goals and make sure they are all action oriented in a very clear way. After all, 'getting healthier' isn't a particularly clear goal, but 'stop eating junk food' is. 'Get a girlfriend' sounds like an action but is actually very ambiguous- 'meet a new attractive woman a day' is an actionable goal.
